ADHD
Therapeutic Area introduction
ADHD is a heterogeneous neurodevelopmental condition expressed through differing combinations of attentional instability, impulsivity, hyperactivity, emotional dysregulation, motivation, sleep and stress-related difficulties. This page evaluates biological and dietary evidence across regulatory systems; it does not assume that every mechanism is abnormal in every individual, or that a biomarker association identifies a treatment target.
V1 assembles reviewed repository evidence and makes direct, extrapolated and mechanistically inferred claims distinguishable. It is an evidence map, not individual medical advice.
Compact BRS1–BRS6 summary
Evidence on this page is organised by biological regulatory system and migrated from the reviewed Therapeutic Area Research tables on each BRS hub.
| BRS | System | Hub migration | Study presentations | Evidence types |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BRS1 | Neurotransmitter Regulation | Migrated from hub table | 14 | Direct condition-specific evidence; Extrapolated from another population; Biomarker association |
| BRS2 | Methylation & One-Carbon Metabolism | Migrated from hub table | 7 | Biomarker association; Direct condition-specific evidence; Extrapolated from another population |
| BRS3 | Inflammation & Oxidative Stress | Migrated from hub table | 9 | Direct condition-specific evidence |
| BRS4 | Mitochondrial Function & Bioenergetics | Migrated from hub table | 5 | Direct condition-specific evidence |
| BRS5 | Gut–Brain Axis & Enteric Nervous System | Migrated from hub table | 7 | Biomarker association; Direct condition-specific evidence; Extrapolated from another population |
| BRS6 | Metabolic & Neuroendocrine Regulation | Migrated from hub table | 8 | Biomarker association; Direct condition-specific evidence |
